　　藤原拓海由于不败的战绩，必然会受到新的挑战。　　《头文字D》的第二部着重突出拓海的成长，当然不乏激烈的挑战。最经典的要数赤诚和依吕波山路两位老大的比拼。年轻的拓海在爱情上触了礁，在输给帝王车队的lanEvo 3后，拓海遇到了人生的挫折，对自己和AE86产生了怀疑，AE86真的有足够的实力吗？　　AE86的重生来自拓海的爸爸文太，他为AE86改装了赛车用引擎。同时，拓海遇到了同样是AE86的强劲对手秋山涉。有意思的是比赛规则是在同一赛道两车来回追赶，直到其中之一能超越对方为止，既要技术又考耐力。胜利让拓海继续接受这辆AE86和重拾信心回到车手的生涯。

　　当积雪完全融化后，关东地区的飚车手之间渐渐流传起了一个传闻，在Internet上出现了一个由群马的飚车手所建立的网站，向整个关东地区征集对手并扬言要达成“关东最速计划”，甚至还十分专业地把赛道等资料罗列出来，该网站也就是那个车队的名字叫做“Project D”！　　枥木县S市“SEVEAN STARS”车队便是“D计划”远征的第一站。末次澈是“SEVEAN STARS”下山道最快的车手，也是个非常有趣的人。为了备战他特意向女友借钱购置新轮胎，结果女友生气地警告他如果输了的话就要放弃赛车，为两人的将来好好做打算。终于到了周末，出现在末次他们眼前的是黑白相间的86、黄色的FD以及一台印着“Project D”的白色面包车。

　　外星人试图使地球失去引力，这时，只有圣诞节的馈赠精神一个叫做X 的小外星人才能拯救世界。

《小马宝莉》画面精美，有很多对儿童有吸引力的情节，其中的插曲非常有特色。歌曲的旋律优美，语句则充满儿童的情趣和引人思考的哲理。很多人生的道理，认知的规律都用浅显的语言表达了出来，孩子们跟着学唱，陶醉在美的旋律里，而价值观，眼界与智慧都在悄然的萌发与滋长。《小马宝莉》在“育”与“乐”上的结合相当出色，这一点可以给我们的教育界及广大家长深刻的启发。
